Użytkownik może zmieniać zachowanie klawiatury. Najlepszą metodą jest zapoznanie się z plikami w katalogu $TEXMACS_PATH/progs/keyboard, gdzie zdefiniowane jest standardowe zachowanie klawiatury. Potem można przedefiniować w prywatnych plikach inicjacyjnych.
