Macaulay 2 es un nuevo sistema de software dedicado a soportar la investigación el geometría algebráica y en algebra conmutativa. El software está disponible ahora en código fuente para portarlos, y en forma compilada para Linux, Sun OS, Solaris, Windows, y unas otras pocas máquinas unix. Puede obtenerlo desde
