Cofanie i przywracanie

Jest możliwe stopniowe cofanie zmian zrobionych w dokumencie od chwili uruchomienia TeXmacs. To można zrobić poprzez menu Edytuj→Cofnij operację lub skrótami M-[ albo C-/. Cofnięte zmiany mogą być przywrócone poprzez Edytuj→Przywołaj ponownie operację lub M-].

Aby oszczędzić pamięć liczba operacji które można cofnąć limitowana jest domyślnie do 100. Jest możliwe zwiększenie za pomocą polecenia 

    (set-maximal-undo-depth 1000)

w osobistym pliku inicjującym (zobacz Pomoc→Scheme). Wpisanie tam liczby ujemnej spowoduje iż dowolną liczbę operacji będzie można cofnąć.
