La forma en que el material tabular es tratado ha cambiado completamente. Se ha vuelto mucho más fácil editar tablas, matrices, arreglos de ecuaciones, etc. También, muchas nuevas características han sido implementadas, tales como color de fondo, bordes, acolchados, separación silábica, subtablas, etc. Sin embargo, la actualización de material tabular viejo podría algunas veces ser errónea, caso en el cual lo invitasmo a enviar un reporte de error.
